Lesson #11 – Joining the Blocks // Skill Builder BOM
In this lesson you will learn how to join your finished quilted and trimmed quilt blocks together with binding joints to create a pieced quilt.
After joining all twenty blocks I can tell you that I am very much in love with this method. There is something so satisfying about joining a few blocks and having an almost completed quilt.
About halfway through the year I was getting a little sick of looking at the same blocks and colors, but now that the blocks are coming together it is so beautiful! If you are running a little behind on your blocks I urge you to try and catch up. This is the most rewarding quilt I have ever made and I am so proud. I know you will feel this way about your own quilt too! I debated whether or not to show you all my pieced quilt, but since I am so close to the finish I decided to hold out util I am completely done. For now here is a not so good Instagram photo sneak peak…
