Beginner's Quilting Tutorial Series - Goal & Schedule

Tomorrow we are going to begin the much anticipated Beginners Quilting Tutorial Series. Every Tuesday for a few months or so we will be going through the all important basics of quilting.

Coming Soon - Beginners Quilting Tutorial Series

For this series we will be making the Easy Pezzy Crib Quilt! You are welcome to make the exact same quilt, create your own version with your own fabric, or just follow along by reading!

Easy Pezzy Crib Quilt by Pile O' Fabric

Easy Pezzy Quilt Tutorial/Pattern

If you already know the basics of quilting, and would just like the tutorial for the Easy Pezzy Crib Quilt, then you can head over to the Moda Bakeshop. This is my very first Moda Recipe as a Moda Chef for the Moda Bakeshop.

Series Goal

When I first started quilting I read tutorial after tutorial. If it were not for the quilters who wrote those tutorials I would be a lost puppy today. My goal with this series will be to impart all of the tips and knowledge I know about quilting as well as provide links to some of the resources that taught me what I know. I am not a quilting “expert” per say, but I do have a passion for quilting and teaching. My techniques and methods are surely not the only way to do things however, my hope is you will take what you learn from myself and others and find the technique or method that works best for you!

Came across your post on Pinterest. I just got my mil to fix my sewing machine today! I can’t wait to start reading up on quilting so I can make my first quilt! I browsed some of the topics and you really break down almost every step which will be a huge help for me!

      Thanks so much :)

I thank God I found your Blog on Pinterest. For a long time I have wanted to learn to quilt but have been so afraid to do it. Thank you for posting step-by-step on how to do a quilt and how to get started!!! It made me feel so much at ease. I am gathering my tools/materials slowly (money output is a factor) but when I get them all together I am going to try one with your wonderful instructions.
Thank you again for sharing your wonderful experience and caring how us Newbie’s are starting out.
