Fabric Giveaway Challenge and a New Sponsor. Welcome Mad About Patchwork!

Today I would like to introduce you to one of my new sponsors. Welcome Pam from Mad About Patchwork!

Mad About Patchwork has been selling fabric online for just over 4 years. At the time, Canadian online retailers were rare, and shipping from the US was sometimes expensive. The response from Canadians has been terrific.

Pam has always brought in fabric that appeals to her. Modern, fresh, fun is her tagline and she is always looking for something that people won’t necessarily find in their local quilt shops. Kona solids have become one of her best sellers, and she now stocks more than 140 colors. She can also custom cut charms and strips of any Kona color she has in stock. Which is super exciting for me! I have been collecting Kona Charms, and I am trying to get at least one charm of each color, for a special Kona Card Quilt I want to make. Yes, I am a Robert Kaufman lover.

In the last year Pam has added shot cottons from Westminster, color stories from Michael Miller and Designer Essentials from Freespirit to her line up of quilting basics. And of course there are always current collections to choose from – you will find Patty Young for Michael Miller, Laurie Wisbrun, Ann Kelle and Pink Light Design for Robert Kaufman, Denyse Schmidt and Heather Bailey for Freespirit in the shop now. Keep an eye on the Coming Soon section of the website … you can see what she is expecting in the next few months.

One of the things I love about Mad About Patchwork is their custom bundles. Pam is so good at putting together custom bundles from different lines of fabric, which really takes the guess work out of choosing coordinating prints.

Mad About Patchwork is online only, although Pam does travel to shows four or five times a year. She will also travel to guilds on request. And local customers are always able to stop by with an appointment to shop!

Fabric Giveaway Challenge

Pam and I have come together to offer you a Fabric Giveaway Challenge. This isn't just your typical giveaway! Here is how it works.

" This may eventually involve some hardware or even a new input paradigm, fo the time being it’s mostly an issue of software app design. Another unique feature is its Geo-tagging facility. This enables comfortable performance at best, and leaves it just a little sluggish at worst.
