Intro To Curve Piecing
Last week we talked about cutting our fabric
, and today I would like to introduce curve piecing. We will be learning how to piece curves with pins, without pins, and with a curve master foot. So for the next few weeks stop on by here at Pile O' Fabric to enter the Groovy Giveaway and for a link to the wonderful tutorials. I decided to do a little curve piecing experimentation. I cut out a few extra curves to play with, which I strongly encourage you to do as well. On each piece I tried out a different method.
I was having a little trouble pinning, an now after Jacquie's tutorial I know exactly why! Pin from the center folks, duh Alyssa!
I also tried piecing with no pins. Very thrilling, to say the least!
And with my curve master presser foot!
My curves could definetely be better, but It wasn't to difficult and quite fun actually!
