Slowly but surely // Retro Rubies QAL

How are your Retro Rubies Quilts coming along? Did you conquer those curves, which piecing method is your favorite? I have been watching the progress in the Flickr Group and being completely honest I think most of you are farther ahead than me, haha. Yes, I am a tad bit behind and I am the host. But, the beauty of being the host is I can extend the final submission date! So those of you who are behind like me now have an additional week to get caught up. Here is our new schedule…
  • June 24th- Quilting your Retro Rubies (Aurifil Thread and Machingers Gloves Giveaway)
  • July 1st - Retro Rubies Link Up Party (Final Submissions Due)
  • July 8th - Winner's announced, prizes awarded!

My Retro Rubies Progress

The last few weeks I haven't been able to sew much since I was working on Sew Mama Sew website. About a week ago I tried really hard to bust the quilt top out in one night, but almost fell asleep sewing, haha. Here is my progress via instagram… http://instagram.com/p/aXPCvijsdl/ http://instagram.com/p/aXTv9MDsUO/ http://instagram.com/p/aXed8Mjsfa/ http://instagram.com/p/aqua5KjsX_/ This week is vacation for my family I plan to sew, sew, sew and we may take a little trip up north to Sedona. I will keep sharing my #retrorubiesqal progress on Instagram and the Flickr Group!
