Fabric Giveaway Sponsor

200x200 Jackie has been quilter for 20 years, longarm quilter for 13 years, in business for 13 years, fabric shop for 4+ years, designer for several quilt Magazines, a National Certified Judy Niemeyer Instructor and Certified Shop, and a quilting podcaster.

New Website!

A few weeks ago Canton Village Quilt Works unveiled their new website, which now makes shopping super easy and fun. For months my Husband and I worked on the new website for Jackie and during that time I got extremely familiar with all of her products. I found so many hidden treasures I didn't even know she carried before. Then some of the fabrics and patterns that didn't immediately strike my fancy before started to really grow on me.

Judy Niemeyer Patterns

[caption id="attachment_5154" align="aligncenter" width="381"]Feathered Star Quilt by Jackie Kunkel Feathered Star Quilt by Jackie Kunkel[/caption] I have always admired Jackie's versions of Judy Niemeyer patterns, but after staring at them a while I could not resist the urge and ordered the Bali Bed Runner pattern.

I really loved the idea of making a bed runner for my King size bed and think this one is beautiful. I have my pattern and now I need to decide what fabrics I will use.

Batiks

I have never used a Batik before (GASP!),  yes I may sound slightly looney to some of you, but Batiks have never really struck me until now. I decided to challenge myself and pick out a bundle of Batiks and of course I had to throw in a few coordinating Kona Cotton colors! I came up with the Kiwi Berry Bundle which includes 12 fat quarters (top to bottom) Kona Cotton - Bright PinkIsland Batik SweetnessIsland Batik Multi BrightKona Cotton - KumquatTonga Bubbles PoppyHoffman Bali Batik Mosaic Dot JulyKona Cotton - SproutTonga Paisley Neon, Artisan Batiks Patina Handpaints Sprig, Kona Cotton - Candy GreenArtisan Batiks Splendid SpringHoffman Bali Batik - Fans Peridot. kiwiberry-pileofabric

Boy to narrow to three. Would go with woven haze stripe in both pewter and blue and the Kona cotton Sunset bundle (is that cheating). Would love to win Alyssa’s choice bundle — out of my comfort range of muted, so would be a fun challenge and a chance to learn something new.
