Topple Quilt

About a year ago I finished this little mini quilt which I call Topple. For a while I wanted to create a pattern in multiple sizes, then life happened. Someday perhaps I will make a pattern, but I figured it was about time I at least share it with you. And what better time to share than when the Pantone Color of the year is Orchid! topple-web

Quilt Details

I actually have another quilt from even longer ago I never shared so I will be back to share about it next week!

    P.S.
I am so bad at making patterns that I’m not sure if your parallelograms are all one piece or not. Please help us left- brained challenged quilters!

I have spent weeks looking at quilt patterns online. I like this pattern the best! I am also quite willing to buy a quilt pattern. I like the solid colors although I am going to make mine out of prints because I was originally going to do a log cabin. I like the individual log blocks but whole quilts in these blocks look too busy to me. I also like the small size because our house has few walls and we have art on the available. Could you please consider giving us the directions for the quilt you did. I am terrible
E at coming up with patterns.

I love this! Simple but the shades of purple make it sing. This is right after my own heart right now, I just finished a color study this week!

Perfect name, Topple! I love how densely you stoked the white background, and how you left the parallelograms floating.

Love this. I’m always looking for good uses for scraps. Do you have a free pattern I could use?

Wow! I absolutely love this one!! The colors you used are so vibrant and the quilting really sets off the design. I love too that you present the piece horizontally rather than vertically. Just awesome!! Anxious to buy the pattern! The minis are so appealing to me, as I have so little time to sew/quilt these days :(

    Dear Alyssa,
I like this very much. Reminds me of some skid marks on the floor… but prefer your colors!
