I’m definitely going to be making my niece some cute dresses and onesies for Christmas. This is her first Christmas and I’m really excited to see he open presents! I’m also thinking about making her a personalized fabric book.

I will be making several new ornaments this year for everyone in the family and I will be making bows for our Christmas tree because our old ones somehow got lost in the move. I really haven’t decided what I will be making everyone in the family yet but I always love making handmade gifts.

I plan to make a couple ornaments to hang on the Tuesday Quilters group Christmas tree. The town I live in has a really neat Christmas lights display in the fairgrounds park, and then local groups and business each decorate a tree representing their business or group, and it’s like a winter wonderland inside the 4H building. It’s awesome to walk through and see all the trees. Our group does a sewing/quilting related tree, and that’s what my ornaments will be for.
I am also making a Godzilla themed quilt for my son for his Christmas gift. He is a teenager who loves Godzilla and his room is decorated as such. He asked me to make him a quilt for his bed. I’ve had to design the fabric using old movie stills/images, since I can’t find Godzilla fabric. His quilt will truly be a one of a kind!
