Last week I shared the Celestial Stocking that I made for the Celestial Gift Along by Alison Glass. I am back again for some more Celestial sewing inspiration!
This week I made a bag using Anna Graham's Road Trip Case pattern paired up with a reduced version of block D from the Celestial pattern by Alison Glass.
The fabrics I used are Kona Cotton in Wasabi and Pomegranate, Cottagely Posy, XOXO in Shag Carpet, and Urban Sprawl in Grass.
I added some chunky hand quilting to the Celestial star and then machine stitched my nieces name, Hailey.
The Road Trip Case pattern was very easy to follow, in fact every Noodlehead pattern I have ever tried has been really easy to follow. Now that I have made one, I feel pretty confident I could make about 3-4 more of these for gifts before Christmas comes.
The case has a bunch of pockets, place for a pen, and an optional place for pins. This case could be used for toting embroidery supplies, art supplies, makeup, bath supplies, etc. It is really versatile, making it a great gift!
Have you started your holiday projects for the Celestial Gift Along? I can't wait to see them, be sure to share pictures of your progress with #celestialgiftalong.
Happy Celestial Sewing!
