Alyssa Lichner is a graphic designer turned avid sewist. She writes modern quilting tutorials and shares techniques and inspiration on her blog, Pile O’ Fabric.
Alyssa has a passion for exploring different techniques and applying them to modern designs. Pile O' Fabric classes are great for all sewists, whether you are a quilter or not. Classes vary in difficulty among Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.
The length of each class offered will vary. For example, a “Block of the Month” typically lasts a full year with lesson's being posted every month. However, all classes can be taken at your own pace. Once you're enrolled you will have access to the course forever!
You will need the necessary fabric and supplies for the class. The basic supply kits include some of the specialty supplies that will be needed during the course of the class. Supply kits for the class can be purchased in the shop. It is assumed that you have the needed sewing tools such as a Sewing Machine, Iron, Pressing Board, Rotary Cutter, Cutting Mat, Scissors, Pins, Matching Thread, Seam Ripper, Basting Pins, Etc.
Yes. Once a class is purchased, it is yours to access and review at any time forever even if you have completed a lesson.
