Project: B&W Memories Quilt, Final Quilt Reveal

Well you might be thinking did the quilt end up getting there in time? It did indeed. When I got home from dropping my husband off at the airport, I took my sewing machine apart. I was able to get it to sew a good stitch, but at the slowest speed possible. So I seem ripped all the bad stiches out and started over sewing the binding on at turtle speed.

Once I was done, I quickly put together a special tag for it, photographed and boxed it up. After 25.5hrs and 5 days, I had finsished it! I shipped it 2nd day, and it did arrive while my husband was still there. Here are the final photos of the B&W Memories Quilt 2012. For Kimbera Lichner, my mother-in-law, we love you!

Overall I had such a blast doing this quilt. The time crunch, even though stressful at times made the whole project that much more fun. And as usual with each new project I do, I love quilting even more! I am left with a broken sewing machine, so I will be posting my Sewing Machine Saga soon :). Thanks for joining me for this project, there will be more to come soon!
