Pin it, Sew It! August Link Up

August Pin it, Sew it! Link Up

For the month of August I was able to accomplish a some key fobs I had pinned earlier in the month. I had pinned these little key fobs because I knew someday they would make a cute little gift. I wanted to make a gift for the I Love Kona Charm swap participants, so I decided to make these. Here is the tutorial I used by Craftiness is Not Optional

and here are my key fobs

I decided to sew mine all completely by hand, with embroidery floss, felt die cut flowers and buttons. Not sure why, guess I am crazy. I felt like my fingers were going to fall off when I was done, but I really liked them. I added my little cheezy saying on the back side, and viola!

So what did you make?

Official Rules

To participate create a new board on your Pinterest account called Pin it, Sew it!. Then pin all items you seriously want to sew to that board every month. These could be tutorials you have found on the web, patterns you want to purchase, etc.

Then create a board called Pin it, Sew it, I did it! where you will post photos of items you have accomplished from your Pin it, Sew it! board.

When creating new pins please add the hash tag #pinitsewit to the end of your descriptions, so I can see all your lovely pins. (example)

On the 1st of every month I will post the Pin It, Sew It! Link up here at Pile O' Fabric. You can link up to your Pin It, Sew It, I did it! board or a specific pin, or a flickr photo, or even better a blog post talking about your Pin It, Sew It! accomplishments. I realize there are a lot of link ups on the first of the month so feel free to put this in a post for another link up and just reference which item was for Pin It, Sew It! and use the Pin it, Sew it! button.

The linky will remain open for 1 week each month to give you all some time. Just like other linky parties, you will visit the two people who link up before you and share some encouraging comment love :)

So let the fun begin, time to start conquering some of those pins and of course your big fat Pile O' Fabric! Try and share this linky with one other friend, the more the merrier!
