October Pin It, Sew it! Link Up

Wow, today I woke up wen't about my day and realized, its the 1st! No way, what happened to October? For the month of October I decided to make some zipper pouches for a swap gift. I followed Noodleheads tutorial for Open Wide Zippered Pouch. This tutorial is really easy to follow and she has instructions for 3 different sizes.

Matching Zipper Bags

I made two zipper pouches for the swap, but loved it so much I am working on a bunch more of them for handmade giveaway items :)

Fabric cut for more handmade giveaway goodies

I have the pieces already cut and zippers picked out for quite a few pouches

So what did you make?

Official Rules

To participate create a new board on your Pinterest account called Pin it, Sew it!. Then pin all items you seriously want to sew to that board every month. These could be tutorials you have found on the web, patterns you want to purchase, etc.

Then create a board called Pin it, Sew it, I did it! where you will post photos of items you have accomplished from your Pin it, Sew it! board.

When creating new pins please add the hash tag #pinitsewit to the end of your descriptions, so I can see all your lovely pins. (example)

On the 1st of every month I will post the Pin It, Sew It! Link up here at Pile O' Fabric. You can link up to your Pin It, Sew It, I did it! board or a specific pin, or a flickr photo, or even better a blog post talking about your Pin It, Sew It! accomplishments. I realize there are a lot of link ups on the first of the month so feel free to put this in a post for another link up and just reference which item was for Pin It, Sew It! and use the Pin it, Sew it! button.

The linky will remain open for 1 week each month to give you all some time. Just like other linky parties, you will visit the two people who link up before you and share some encouraging comment love :)

This linky is still just a little baby, but it has the potential to grow so invite a friend to join the fun.

Can't wait to see what you make!
