For the month of December I will be having some wonderful friends sharing there very own Technique Tutorial's with us. I am really excited for the tutorials in store!
Today we will began with a 2-part Paper Piecing Tutorial by Christa at ChristaQuilts. Christa is one of my wonderful sponsors, and a faithful Pile O' Fabric follower. She has been such an encouraging friend and I am so thankful for her! Christa has big plans for 2013, and I know she is going to do fantastic! Christa wrote a fantastic tutorial for us today which is perfect for beginner Paper Piecing. I haven't done a ton of paper piecing, but every time I do I think to myself, "man it's nice to have everything match up"! I have gotten to a point in my quilting journey in which I seem to fret over every single imperfection. But, im learning that I just have to let some things go, otherwise the seam ripper may fall apart, haha. But, I do know that paper piecing can be a key to beautiful piecing that will take away some of my fretting! Christa uses a Add a Quarter Ruler when paper piecing which I have found SOO very helpful! For her tutorial she will be showing you how to make a wonderful Christmas Wreath Quilt!
