Well I rarely get to participate in WIP Wednesday, because I am always too busy working on my WIPS to actually write my post haha, but today I wanted to share some WIPS and if you follow me on instagram, or flickr you may have seen some of these projects already. I am participating in Sew Sew Modern handmade swap. My partner wasn't very clear on exactly what she wanted, she had mentioned wall quilt, table runner, bag, or placemats.  I decided to make her a table runner and coordinating place mats. She said she loves a lot of color, text prints, hexagons, and embroidery. I began piecing the flowers by hand, but after my 4th flower my hands were killing me, so I invented a really cool way to piece them together by machine. I plan on doing some pretty detailed quilting in the white space of the table runner. The flowers will be on the top and the curved stripe will be on the back, so she can sort of have a double sided runner. I will finish them all off with a scrappy binding.

• To finish the project I need to quilt the table runner and 3 more place mats, and bind everything.

I am also and will be working on my Skill Builder blocks all year. I am working as far ahead as possible just in case I have a crazy month. Our first lesson is tomorrow, we will be making The Sound Wave, and Magnum blocks. [one-half]

I have a lot of other projects in the works as well, I am hoping to have a complete finish soon or I might go WIP crazy haha. Here is my current list I am trying to focus on.
