QuiltCon Link Up

There are only 19 more days until QuiltCon! I am beyond excited, but it is a little bittersweet. I will be leaving my 10 month old son Everett for the first time :( and lets just say he is definitely a momma's boy! Besides that I am very excited. The other day the Modern Quilt Guild started a Linky Party for the attendees to get to know each other. They asked us to share a photo of ourself and 5 things you don't know about me. So here they are…
Left: my sister Holly (middle sister) pregnant with her son, Middle: myself(the youngest) holding my son when he was only a few weeks old and I was still carrying baby weight, Right: my sister Sherrana (oldest sister)

  • I am the youngest in my family, I have two amazing sisters who are super crafty and talented!
Jacob and I when we had just gotten engaged! We were so young :)
Jacob and I a few years later before we had kiddos
  • My wonderful husband Jacob and I met when I was in High School, and we got married when I was only 18 years old!

  • I am very knowledgable of Turquoise, Gemstones, and Jewelry. I worked for my Dad in his gallery Black Arrow in Downtown Prescott, Arizona. I started when I was 12yrs old. I worked at other jobs in high school and then back with my Dad until I was 22yrs old, I designed, and managed their website and online orders. I even brought my daughter to work with me every day, my office was completely baby proofed, crib and all!
I couldn't find photos for the rest, but…
  • I was a band geek! I played the flute for 7 years and piano for 2 years. I was in the marching band for 2 of my high school years. And music is still very important part of my life.
  • I have lived in 5 different houses in the last 6 years, geez. haha
Are you going to Quilt Con? Go ahead and stop by the Modern Quilt Guild and link up its been fun meeting everyone!
