Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!
My amazing partner listened to all my want's SO well. Sarah really knows how to make a quilter happy haha. I am officially the owner of my very own Patchwork Weekender Bag, and a Journal/Sketch Book just for Pile O' Fabric.

When the recent Long Weekender blog hop was happening I was totally getting the weekender bug. I told myself I really wanted to make one to take to QuiltCon I even have the pattern, but life happened and I never got around to making one. So when this beauty arrived I was SOOOO excited. I still can't believe Sarah made this for a SWAP gift. This was Sarah's very first time making a weekender, piping, and doing a whole lot of the techniques and she did an amazing job. She made it with just batting as opposed to the massive amount of interfacing it calls for, that way it could fold up and ship to me. I really love the fact I can fold it up and think I might prefer the loose style better. She also extended the straps which is way better than the 7" or 9" straps in the pattern. I think someday I will make another one, just so I can get the experience of doing it and learning all the techniques, but right now I am so excited I got out of all that work and have my very own.
This sketchbook is very very special to me. When I first began Pile O' Fabric, I had absolutely NO clue it would turn into what it has. It has been a super fun journey, but definitely a TON of work, and ultimately so worth it. When I got this I really almost cried, it is a really perfect gift for all the months of work on Pile O' Fabric and I cannot wait to start designing in it. She used the colors I am using in Skill Builder BOM, again very special, she used text prints which I love and of course hand stitched my logo :) Sarah this will always be very very special to me. I am going to be proudly sporting these items at Quilt Con in about 1 week. I plan to make a few more small things for the trip as well. Again Sarah thank you so very much for all the hard work and love you put into these gifts I will forever love them!
