Mr. Fox by Samantha Davis // Project Feature

I find it so encouraging to see what you’re making with the help or inspiration of Pile O’ Fabric tutorials or Aria Lane patterns. Last week I was thinking about my blogging plans for 2014 and decided it would be really fun to feature some of the awesome projects I come across for all of you to see. Today’s project feature will be the first of many.

Meet Mr. Fox by Samantha Davis

Inspired by the Cross Stitch Quilt Block Tutorial, Samantha made a super cute fox quilt. This adorable quilt features a mix of linen, low volume fabrics, various orange prints, and a few black text prints. Samantha added some minimal hand quilting using orange variegated Aurifil thread in 28wt, which really helps the Fox remain the main focus. The finished quilt measures 20” x 19.5”, making a perfect mini quilt.
