It's been a while since I participated in a quilt along, how about you? Jana Machado just announced that she is hosting a Night Sky Quilt Along.
The Night Sky quilt by Camille Roskelley is a perfect quilt for quilters of all skill levels. For those of you who are beginner's, the quilt may seem complicated, but rest assured it's actually quite easy. For those of you more advanced this is one of those fun patterns where you can relax, chain piece, watch movies and eat popcorn (well maybe not popcorn)!
Jana's plan is to bust out one row a week over the span of seven weeks. I'm thinking I might make a few accessories with the blocks maybe a pillow or two for Christmas presents. You can get the full quilt along details on her blog.
I am one of the sponsors for the quilt along so I have put together a Night Sky Bundle and Quilt Kit that have various prints and solids in the same color scheme as Camille's original quilt. I also have the Night Sky pattern for sale.
The bundle that I put together includes 14 pieces and can be purchased in either fat quarters or half yards.
The Night Sky Quilt Kit includes the pattern and all of the fabric you will need to make a completed 64" x 80" quilt top. Don't forget I offer free domestic shipping on all orders over $45, so this kit ships free in the US!
I will be back in a few weeks to share my progress for the quilt along as well as a little tutorial. Jana is going to be giving away some awesome goodies throughout the quilt along, I think it will be really fun. I do hope you will join us and quilt along! Be sure to follow Jana's fun blog on Bloglovin so you can see the quilt along progress and follow along.
