Shiloh Satchel Bag Tour

My blog has been pretty quiet lately. I miss blogging on a weekly basis, but this season of my life is wonderfully chaotic. Day's are filled with homeschooling, child rearing, baby feeding, home tending, and sometimes laying in bed all day thanks to chronic health issues. My extra time each day for Pile O' Fabric is split between shop management tasks, preparing new tutorials, and designing new quilt and bag patterns. This doesn't leave me much time to write legit blog posts, but I do post sewing inspiration, upcoming sneak peeks, shop and family updates on social media on a regular basis. You can check those out on my Facebook and Instagram.

Shiloh Satchel Bag Pattern

If you haven't already seen on social media, I have my very first bag sewing pattern coming out. It's called the Shiloh Satchel. For so many years I have promised you I would design bag patterns, so I am pretty excited this goal is finally coming to fruition. I hope this is the first of many, in fact there are already quite a few patterns in the works. And for all your quilter's out there don't fret I have some fun quilting goodness in the works too.

The Shiloh Satchel PDF pattern will be available for purchase on November 1st. There will also be a free step-by-step video tutorial posted on YouTube. This is a great bag to challenge and grow your bag making skills. It is loaded with different pockets to keep you organized. Here is a quick video tour of the bag. Check back November 1st for links to purchase the pattern and pictures of the tester's versions.

Thank you for sticking by Pile O' Fabric all these years as I have gone through so many different seasons in my personal and business life. Your support and encouragement has been a wonderful blessing!
