Shiloh Satchel

PDF Bag Pattern by Alyssa Lichner

The Shiloh Satchel PDF bag pattern was designed by Alyssa Lichner of Pile O' Fabric. This sophisticated satchel is loaded with different pockets to keep you organized. The pattern includes instructions for two sizes: a handbag size great for daily use, or traveler size for carrying 13” or 15” laptops or all the necessities for a new baby. Also included are instructions for an additional shoulder strap and stroller straps.

There is a full Shiloh Satchel step-by-step bag making video tutorial available on the Pile O' Fabric YouTube Channel with tips and tricks to help you through the process of making the bag.

Pattern Difficulty
The Shiloh Satchel is rated a 3+ out of 4, Intermediate to Advanced on the Pile O’ Fabric difficulty scale. It is suggested for the experienced sewer who has sewn a variety of bags and feels comfortable with sewing structured or stiffer bags.

Sample Instructions

We strive to produce the clearest, cleanest, well designed patterns as possible. Pile O' Fabric patterns have cutting and fusing checklists, full color photos of project samples, full color illustrations for each written step, and an additional video tutorial for further help. Patterns also go through testing by sewers of many different skill levels.
