The Skill Builder Block of the Month (BOM) is a monthly quilt-as-you-go block of the month which I teach online here at Pile O' Fabric every year (it started in 2013). Each year I come up with a different quilt design and throughout the year teach a class on how to make the quilt with instructions and helpful videos. The goal of this BOM is to learn new piecing techniques, and build skill in free motion quilting. In the end you will have a beautiful quilt and much more experience! You can join any past or current Block of the Month at anytime and work at your own pace. Click the links below to see each years quilt.
